What it does for farmers
Beyond weather and flood intelligence, AgroPulse Nigeria provides a comprehensive agricultural toolkit including a Planting Advisor with zone-specific crop calendars, seasonal planting alerts delivered via SMS in English, Hausa and Nigerian Pidgin, a harvest tracking system with predictive yield analytics, a searchable supplier directory, and a preparedness centre for emergency planning. The platform is built to work on low-bandwidth mobile connections and can be added to a phone home screen like an app.
How it is built and governed
AgroPulse Nigeria is built and maintained by Symbiosis LLC, with AI governance oversight through the Symbiosis GRC Command Centre. The platform aggregates data from authoritative sources including OpenWeatherMap and the NiMet 2026 Seasonal Climate Prediction, a published document. We are seeking partnerships with government agencies, research institutions, NGOs, and development organisations to ensure data accuracy and broaden community reach across the country.
